About the design
Kedarnath is one of the holiest shrines of Lord Shiva, standing at 3,583 meters at the head of the Mandakini valley. It is the highest of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the most sacred Shiva temples in India. Built of stone against a wall of snow peaks, it has drawn pilgrims up the valley for centuries.
